The department store has no other windowfront than the streetlevel. The city block grows on top of this public windowfront.
The Block is seen as one, manipulations in the shape define the public accents. The whole building itself dressed in golden wooden shirt, functioning as urban living and office spaces. The double skin balconies provide comfort and buffer from the busy city sweeping by.
